PVC angles come in two forms: fixed angles made of rigid PVC and foldable (bent) angles. Foldable PVC angles can also be used as flat strips. Self-adhesive foldable angles are equipped with self-adhesive tape on both legs or on one leg.The self-adhesive tape allows for quick installation of such an angle. It is important to properly prepare the surface (degrease it) before bonding and to leave expansion gaps at both ends of the angle. Foldable PVC angles work very well for installing windows joined at any angle.Foldable angles with a thickness of 1.0 mm to 1.5 mm are produced in coils of 50 m or 100 m with self-adhesive tape on one or both legs. These foldable (bent) angles are packed in appropriate cartons.Foldable PVC angles with thicknesses of 2 mm, 2.5 mm, and 3 mm are produced in 6-meter lengths. Self-adhesive tape can be applied to these angles according to the customer's order (rolled up during transport and packed in cartons). It is important to immediately unroll the angles to their full length and lay them flat and evenly upon receipt of the shipment.
Experience shows that 2 to 3 days of transporting rolled-up angles does not affect the material quality after unpacking.Foldable and fixed PVC angles are also available in colors.Angle strips – angle profiles laminated with foils from Renolit, Hornschuch, Cova, and LG.Fixed angle strips are often used for cladding window jambs on the exterior as well as window reveals on the interior.We also offer PVC angles lacquered in any RAL color, which are often used in the installation of aluminum joinery.PVC angles are also suitable for hot bending, making them useful for cladding arched windows.
